[ On the morning of the 25th, there's a pile of doorstoppers outside the Fey room. Three presents wrapped in cheerfully tacky paper - one purple, for Maya, one yellow, for Mia, and one in Wright Blue for Nick.

Phoenix likely won't find his until later, and that's fine. When he does, it's almost entirely practical: a first-aid-kit for emergencies, similar to the Fey's, and a thick book detailing the current laws of Neverwinter. But what's most curious is the scarf. It's a very familiar shade of blue, as close to his suit as they could manage, from memory alone, and made of a strange, sturdy fabric.

There's also a note, in Lion's painfully neat handwriting.

"It's not much, as I don't know you as well as I should, which means it's somewhat of an educated guess - but it didn't feel right to not try at all. The book especially seemed like something you might benefit from having on hand, even though it only covers one city.

As for the scarf- it was a commission from one of the tailor here on the base. It's not enchanted, but it should be more resistant to fraying from wear and tear then you might expect. And easier to clean, too.

[In front of Phoenix's door he'll find a little, dark blue knitted dog. If he later compares this to Maya's and Mia's, he'll find it matches theirs, but his is the smallest. (Mia's is the biggest, then Maya's, then Nick's). There's also a book of wordplay.

[A messily-wrapped box, with Phoenix's name written directly on the colorful paper. There's a handmade card on top, decorated with stickers and doodles of wintry images like snow, gingerbread men, etc. It's not properly signed, but the signature isn't necessary. On one side of the interior:]

I know things seem bad right now, but that's just how it is for us, right? Things are just piling up, and everything looks hopeless, and the evil guys seem like they're winning... but this is exactly the time where you'd bluff up a contradiction, and turn things around while pointing and sweating a lot! So I guess what I'm trying to say is, let's keep going the way we always do. I'll always be by your side no matter what happens, and even if things seem scary, I know you can do it. You'll save everyone in the end like you always do.
